We were approached by performer and entertainer Penni Tovey about creating a 6ft burlesque style giant Martini glass prop as a centrepiece for one of her performances. She needed it to be sturdy -as well as fireproof – as she was using it as part of a fire show.
The bespoke cocktail glass needed to be able to fit into the back of a car for travel so we made it in four sections. The perspex bowl was 1 metre diameter, and the base, stem and support were all made out of steel before being spray finished.
