We were recently commissioned by the team for Steven Bartlett to create this magnificent bespoke table. The table was to be the centrepiece for Steven’s podcast “The Diary of a CEO“.

Andy our designer, worked closely with our master metal worker Dom to create this industrial take on a medieval style.

Our brief was to create a bespoke table that looked like it was sculpted from a single piece of metal. Andy wanted to reduce the weight of the piece to make it moveable, but needed to ensure it still looked like a solid piece of metal. In order to do this, Andy modelled the design in 3D software to optimise the build.

After the final pieces were welded into place, Dom used an orbital sander. Using 40 grit to 80 grit sand paper, Dom sanded the table for a total of eight hours to ensure the look was just perfect.
