We’re professional project managers and producers, with a ton of grown up experience in TV, Film, PR and entertainment.
We prototype, we collaborate, we plan the living daylights out of everything. Everything crossed and dotted. Every expectation kicked out the park.

The brains behind Plunge. A creative all rounder, Tim is equally at home behind the computer, designing and visualising a project, or in the workshop, working alongside the team.

Also known as 'the voice of calm', Sarah’s role at Plunge can’t be defined as any one thing. It would be better to say she’s a bit involved in everything.

Turning maybes into hell-yeahs since 2000
Plunge Creations (formerly known as Plunge Productions Ltd) started life back in 2000 as a theatre production company, bringing spectacular shows to various cities across the UK.
Back then, we were based in Birmingham, but with dreams of making it big on the West End, we packed up and moved to London. And while we made a splash with critically acclaimed productions like Honk! and Joe and I, we soon realised our real magic lay elsewhere. Alongside our theatre work, we’d been offering creative services—design, props, builds—and it turned out, that’s where the real demand (and fun!) was. So, the company pivoted.
And what a move that turned out to be! We relocated to the sunny(ish) south coast, setting up shop in Hove’s Workhaus mews complex. This gave us the chance to collaborate with other creative businesses, expanding our skills and services. But before long, we’d outgrown our little workshop and needed somewhere bigger to let our imaginations (and giant props) run wild.
Enter Portslade Village—our current home just outside Brighton, where we now operate from a sprawling 6,000 sq ft workshop and studio space. With everything under one roof, we can take on ambitious, intricate, and downright wacky projects without relying on outsourcing. If you can dream it, we can probably build it!
At the centre of it is Tim Simpson, our Creative Director, who has been with Plunge since the very beginning and took the reins as company director in 2004. In 2010, Sarah Mead joined as a Director, bringing her organisational firepower to the team.
Today, we’re proud to be a powerhouse of imagination, crafting incredible creations for events, TV, theatre, and beyond. It’s been quite a ride but one that couldn't have been done without the incredibly talented team who make up Plunge Creations.
