Skills requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Creative Producer / Project Manager.
  • Proficiency using Excel and Word (or similar). 
  • Experience working with design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.

We’re heading into a busy period and are looking to connect with freelance Project Managers for ad-hoc support. While this isn’t a fixed or long-term contract, we regularly tap into our freelance network when workload spikes—and we'd love to build an ongoing relationship with the right person.

Job Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role requires close collaboration with Directors, the production team, designers, clients, and freelancers.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
  • Preparing quotes and assembling tenders for projects.
  • Creating mood boards and assisting with design development.
  • Liaising with Directors, Workshop Leads and Designers to fully understand the making requirements of each project.
  • Ensuring project aims, deadlines, and budgets are met, while maintaining quality production standards.
  • Managing budgets, monitoring progress, and overseeing staffing for assigned projects.
  • Handling project-related accounting, costing, and billing tasks.
  • Assisting with installations and de-rigs as required, subject to agreement on working hours.
  • Producing illustrative drawings for clients and for workshop reference.
  • Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients.
  • Organising freelance and project crews, ensuring work meets Plunge Creations’ standards.
  • Preparing risk assessments and method statements for relevant projects and installations.
  • Attending production and other relevant meetings as needed.
  • Collaborating with the management team to support efficient workshop operations.
  • Assisting in the supervision of freelance staff and work placement students.
  • Undertaking any other reasonable duties as required by Company Directors.
  • Adhering to all health and safety policies and practices.
  • Participating in relevant training and development.
  • Reporting any workshop safety concerns to the Management Team.
