Job Overview
This is a hands-on role essential to the smooth operation of our creative company. As HR & Office Coordinator, you will take ownership of HR support, general office administration, and assist with H&S, and IT. You will work directly with the leadership team, providing day-to-day assistance and coordination, helping them stay organised, informed and focused on big-picture priorities.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Serve as the first point of contact for day-to-day employee queries, escalating complex matters where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate employee records, and HR policies and templates in line with current UK employment legislation.
- Support end-to-end employee lifecycle processes: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee development, absence management, payroll, and offboarding.
- Support the leadership team with any employee relations matters (disciplinary, grievances, etc.).
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including HR consultants, freelancers, and contractors as required.
- Work closely with the leadership team to evaluate, improve and streamline existing HR processes & systems.
- Provide administrative support to the leadership team, including diary management, meeting coordination, and occasional note-taking.
- Act as the first line of support for basic internal IT setups and troubleshooting.
- Manage general office operations: answer phone, manage office supplies, and coordinate post and deliveries.
- Work with the team to ensure health & safety and compliance procedures are maintained and followed.
