Stepping Up a Gear – Car Part Portraits for World’s Most Dangerous Roads
For this high-octane project, we put the pedal to the metal, rolled up our sleeves, and hit the scrapyards to source the raw materials for something seriously cool—celebrity portraits made entirely from car parts!
In collaboration with St Mark’s Studios, we built these intricate mechanical masterpieces for Dave’s marketing campaign, celebrating the latest series of World’s Most Dangerous Roads. The famous faces given the gearhead treatment? None other than sports commentator Chris Kamara, comedian Angela Barnes, and TV presenter Joe Swash.
100+ hours of work. 1,000+ car parts. 3 legendary faces.
The result? A trio of automotive artworks crafted from nuts, bolts, gears, and grit—proving that even scrap metal can be transformed into something spectacular.
Fast, fearless, and fuelled by creativity!
