Giant Tea Cups – Built for a Brew & a Snooze at Jamie Oliver’s Feastival!

Fancy a cuppa? You’ll need about 10,000 tea bags to fill these four giant tea cups we’ve just built for Jamie Oliver’s Feastival on Clapham Common.
Commissioned by the brilliant team at Rouge Events, these oversized brews were designed to bring a playful, immersive twist to the festival – and we were more than happy to stir things up!
How Do You Build a Giant Tea Cup?
With a little bit of Plunge magic, of course:
🔹 First, the carve – We sculpted the tea cups from massive blocks of polystyrene
🔹 Next, the durability – Hard-coated for strength (because no one wants a cracked cup!)
🔹 Then, the finishing touch – A flawless paint job to give them that classic ceramic look
But these weren’t just props—they were experiences. Each giant tea cup came with a bed inside, giving Feastival-goers the perfect spot to lounge after indulging in all that delicious festival grub.
And After the Festival?
Who knows! Will they end up in someone’s back garden? A quirky hotel lobby? Or will they meet their fate in one epic crockery smash? Either way, we had a blast making them.
