Meet Our Fierce and Fabulous Phoenix!

Birmingham was set alight this summer, as our magnificent Phoenix took to the streets in support of the Birmingham Phoenix cricket team’s August fixtures.

This larger-than-life installation captured the imagination of passers-by with dazzling wings, surprise giveaways, spontaneous selfies, and plenty of unforgettable photo opportunities.

Our skilled withy artist carefully sculpted the majestic phoenix, weaving and bending countless willow withies into its striking form. To ignite its magic, we embedded glowing LED lights within the structure, before layering it in wet tissue paper, hand-painting it in a blazing flame-orange, and finishing with a lacquer to ensure it shines brilliantly in any weather!

The activation drew crowds, sparked conversations, and left fans with a lasting impression- proving that our Phoenix isn’t just a symbol, but an experience that truly soars.
